Jamila is a New England native, resident of NYC, though she'd rather be in Marrakech. Founder of JAMILA productions, she functions as general overlord, artist & muse. Currently she is developing a series of mixed media paintings studying beauty, costume, and structure, using organic and manmade texture.

An artist by birth but photographer by accident, her photos are a trail of her various homes and travels while abroad. Her writing focuses on various experiences, real, and the overwhelming sense of mystery that comes with trying to map their meaning.
